The Manipur government on Monday informed all concerned farmers in Chandel district to submit their applications for claim of relief/compensation for not cultivating paddy due to the prevailing law and order situation in the state.

Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chandel, in a notice, informed the affected farmers to submit their application forms to the respective offices of subdivisional officer Chakpikarong and Chandel on or before October 27, 2023.

It also notified that attested photocopies of documents including Aadhaar, bank passbook and land ownership certificate issued by village authority or patta copy must be enclosed at the time of submission of the application.
