Former director, Horticulture and Soil Conservation, N Joymati Devi has appealed to Governor Anusuiya Uikey for her efforts and measures to strengthen the government and to usher in peace and harmony in the state during her tenure as Governor of Manipur.

Joymati also expressed grief over the prevailing unrest in the state which has affected numerous lives and left many homeless, a release said.
She expressed hope that the Governor will also consider the plights facing the affected victims of the conflict and explore ways and means for their welfare, it mentioned.

Joymati also distributed essential items to the affected victims staying in the Relief camp opened at Kumbi Awang High School on Monday, it added.
