The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT), also known as Anal Naga Student Union, on Wednesday elected its new executive members for the session 2023-2028 at Beru Khudam village in Chandel district.
Bd Ningwar was elected as the president of ALT Cdl HQs, Wng. Lawrence as the vice president, Kt Zachariah as the general secretary, Wl. Jonah Ningtung as social and culture secretary, Kt. Demos as information secretary, Sr. Kagalay as games and sports secretary and Sp. Mowarning as finance secretary.
Bd Ningwar, while congratulating his newly elected colleagues, expressed gratitude to all the units of the ALT in the district for coming forward to show their love and support and elect the new members.
And, while assuring to give his best for the welfare of the Anal community in general and the Anal students in particular, he also sought support from his colleagues and the Anal students to take the people of the community forward.
The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected executive members is likely to be held next week.
With ALT Chandel HQs as the apex body of the Anal students, there are five sub-units in the district viz. Maha Area Unit, Sulam Area Unit, Green Hills Union, Western Valley Unit and Chakpi Area Unit. Besides these, all village level youth clubs of Anal villages in Chandel district fall under the jurisdiction of ALT Chandel HQs too.
