AMUCO speeds up 'No Separate Administration' campaign

Clubs and Meira Paibis of Wangjing Khunou organised public meeting on ‘No Separate Administration in Manipur’ on Friday.

All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) in collaboration with various local clubs and Meira Paibis continued to organise public meetings on ‘No Separate Administration in Manipur’ in places across the state on Friday. 

Clubs and Meira Paibis of Wangjing Khunou organised a meet on the same at Wangoo Lamkhai Wangjing Khunou, stated a release. The meeting saw participation from many people and eminent members of various civil society organisations including AMAWOVA Advisor Ch Usharani, COCOMI member Rk Lakshmi, AMUCO Ex-President Ito Tongbram, COHR Chairman Phulindro Konsam and president of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur, L Memchoubi among others.

Attendees took resolutions to unite and fight against any attempts to harm the state’s territorial integrity, to set up village guards to protect the villages from attacks by armed Kuki militants etc.

Discussions on various agendas, including stepping up relief and rehabilitation of the affected victims, stopping militarisation in Manipur, withdrawing SoO truce with Kuki militants immediately and flushing them out from Manipur among others were also held, it added.
