Interlocutor AK Mishra along with officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) who arrived in Manipur on Wednesday evening reportedly convened a meeting with tribal leaders in Churachandpur district on Thursday.

Jt Director IB (NE) Dr Mandeep Singh Tuli of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and AK Mishra along with Jt Director IB Imphal Gnanasambandan, Churachandpur DC Dharun Kumar and Assistant Director IB Churachandpur Soiminthang Thangsing met with the tribal leaders to review the last meeting with UHM which was held on August 8 in New Delhi, as per sources.

The meeting was adjourned and they will meet again Friday.
