District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Chandel under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) organised a capacity building programme on the ‘Roles of Legal Aid Clinics, Panel Advocates and Para Legal Volunteers’ at CJM Court Complex, Chandel district on Wednesday.
The programme was held as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign in collaboration with the Legal Aid Clinics of (DLSA), Chandel, stated a release.
It stated that advocate Kh Jacky as a resource person of the programme sensitised the participants on the various schemes and SOPs of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA). She further briefed on the schemes to maximize spreading awareness to the local populace to adapt proper legal procedures over customary laws, it stated.
Panel advocates, Para Legal Volunteers and staff participated in the programme, it added.
