21 old rusted magazines unearthed from fish farm

The owner of a fish farm informed the police that he found old rusted magazines while he was developing the fish farm.

As many as 21 old rusted magazines of AK Rifle were unearthead from a fish farm located at Nambol Thiyam village under Bishnupur district, Manipur on Monday around 9.45 am, police sources said.

A team of CDO-Imphal West seized the magazines which were unearthed from a fish farm located at Nambol Thiyam Pat owned by one Rk Ajoy Singh, 30 years, son of Rk Sanahal Singh of Nambol Thiyam Maning Leikai, Nambol, the police said.

They said that during preliminary spot verification, the owner of the fish farm disclosed that he found the old rusted magazines while he was developing the fish farm.

The seized articles were handed over to the Nambol Police Stateion for further legal action, the police added.
