The Supreme Court on Thursday viewed that the provision on automatic disqualification of lawmakers is drastic, and urged courts to be careful while sentencing.

"Provision on automatic disqualification of lawmakers is drastic, courts need to be careful while sentencing," the Bar and Bench quoted the Supreme Court in a tweet on Thursday.
