Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday conveyed his greetings to all, especially to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Sajibu Cheiraoba, the Manipuri New Year’s Day.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister prayed for a healthy year ahead.
"Greetings to everyone, especially the people of Manipur on the special occasion of Sajibu Cheiraoba. I pray for a happy and healthy year ahead," PM Modi tweeted.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took to Twitter to extend his greetings on Sajibu Cheiraoba
"Warm wishes to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Sajibu Cheiraoba. May this festival brighten your lives with abundant joy, prosperity and good health," Shah tweeted.
Manipur Chief Minister also extended greetings and well wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba.
"On this occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba, which marks the beginning of a new lunar year for the Meitei community, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Manipur. May the almighty bless everyone with good health, happiness and prosperity," CM Biren tweeted.
