As Parsi New Year, Navroz, is celebrated across the country on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people and said that India cherishes the outstanding contributions of the Parsi community across different sectors.

"Parsi New Year greetings. Praying for a year filled with happiness, prosperity and good health. India cherishes the outstanding contributions of the Parsi community across different sectors. Navroz Mubarak!" Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
Earlier, on the eve of the Parsi New Year, President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu also extended new year greetings to all, particularly the Parsi community in the country.
