Navroz: National leaders extend greetings on Parsi New Year 2022

President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar extended greetings to all fellow citizens as the nation celebrates Parsi New Year on Tuesday. 

“On the auspicious occasion of Parsi New Year, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all the fellow citizens, especially our Parsi brothers and sisters. 

"The Parsi community have significantly contributed in the development of our nation through their hardwork, dedication and entrepreneurship. The inclusive culture of India inspires all the citizens to live together in harmony.

"May this special occasion of Parsi New Year bring prosperity, peace and harmony to our lives and strengthen our commitment towards mutual brotherhood,” the President mentioned in her message to the nation on the eve of Parsi New Year.

Modi took to Twitter to greet the people on the occasion of Parsi New Year.

"Greetings on Parsi New Year. May the coming year be filled with joy, prosperity and good health. Navroz Mubarak!" the PM tweeted.

The Vice President conveyed his heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of ‘Navroz’, which marks the beginning of Parsi New Year.

"Celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety, Navroz reflects the spirit of fraternity and compassion. The Parsi community in India, though small in number, has made invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the nation, and they hold a very special place in the cultural mosaic of India.

"May the festival of ‘Navroz’ bring good health, happiness and prosperity in our lives,” Dhankar said in his message to the nation.
