N Kotishwar Singh elevated as Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir

Sanjay Kumar Mishra of Uttarakhand has been appointed Chief Justice of Jharkhand and K Vinod Chandran of Kerala High Court as Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on Tuesday has recommended elevation of judges, including N Kotiswar Singh, as Chief Justices of the high courts.

In a statement issued by the Supreme Court, N Kotiswar Singh presently serving as Judge of Gauhati High Court, has been elevated as Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir, Sanjay Kumar Mishra of Uttarakhand as Chief Justice of Jharkhand and K Vinod Chandran of Kerala High Court as Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court.
