Delhi CM Kejriwal unwell; likely to undergo COVID-19 test tomorrow

Kejriwal has isolated himself at his residence after he was advised by doctors to wait for a day before testing for COVID-19.

As the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Delhi continues to spiral, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is likely to undergo COVID-19 test on Tuesday, reports said.

The chief minister is unwell and showing symptoms of fever, sore throat and cough since Sunday, the reports said, adding that Kejriwal has isolated himself after he was advised by doctors to wait for a day before testing for COVID-19.

Kejriwal has cancelled all his meetings since Sunday afternoon, the reports added.

Delhi has reported 27,654 COVID-19 cases, including 10,664 recovered cases and 761 deaths so far. Meanwhile, India reported 9,983 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total cases to 2,56,611, of which 1,25,381 are active cases, while 1,24,094 patients have recovered, according to the Union Health Ministry.
