No new COVID-19 case recorded in Manipur, active tally remains eight

No new COVID-19 case or recovery was recorded in Manipur on Wednesday.

No new COVID-19 case or recovery was recorded on Wednesday in Manipur and the state's active tally remained eight, official sources said.

According to a release issued by the state Health Services, 66 samples were tested for COVID-19 but no positive case was found. No one was discharged on Wednesday, it stated.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccination doses administered till date is 32,69,105.

Meanwhile, the release mentioned that the Central government has stopped supplying COVID vaccines to states. The process for procurement of vaccine for the state is in progress, it added.

As per the state health advisory, people in the state have been urged to maintain Covid appropriate behavior of wearing masks, maintaining health hygiene and avoiding crowd to prevent the spread of the infection.
