With the physical screening of as many as 200 individuals, including male and female, the 9th AFC State Level Transformation Challenge 2022 kicked off on Sunday at Apunba Fitness Centre office in Nagamapal, Imphal West.
The final screening will be held on December 11 and the cutting edge three-month lifestyle makeover programme will culminate on December 17 at MSFDS in a glittering award ceremony for finalists with illustrious prizes for both male and female category and those above 40 years.
The transformation challenge was organised with the motive to facilitate successful long-term weight management through education, skill building, exercise adherence, dietary and behavioural modification, said managing director of AFC Y Hemlet.
He said, in this challenge, everyone will be a winner as all the participants will be able to change their shapes in a healthy manner and enhance the habit of regular exercise and healthy lifestyle.
Encouraging fitness to the public is a way of fighting against drugs, he said, adding that AFC will continue to strive for making a healthy society free from drugs and other abusive substances.
