Only three samples were tested for COVID-19 in Manipur on Sunday as the state continued to report zero COVID-19 cases for over two months. The three samples tested for COVID-19 on Saturday also returned negative for the infection, official sources said.

Manipur has so far conducted 16,69,822 COVID-19 tests. The state's confirmed COVID-19 caseload stood at 1,39,924, including 2,149 deaths.

The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths in Manipur was reported from Imphal West at 49,852 and 712 respectively, followed by Imphal East with 31,067 cases and 517 deaths and Churachandpur with 11,294 cases. Bishnupur has reported the third highest number of COVID-19 deaths in the state at 206 while Pherzawl district is the only district which has reported zero COVID-19 deaths in Manipur.

According to the latest updated data issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, Manipur's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has reached 32,69,009 with no new dose administered on March 11.

Out of the cumulative doses, the first dose is 16,49,448, second dose is 13,39,155 and precaution dose 2,80,406.
