The UNACCO School has once again topped the school rankings for Manipur in the Education World (EW) survey for 2024-25, while UNACCO, Meitram secured second place.
Education World is the first education news magazine dedicated to making education a national priority. In 2007, EW introduced the Education World India School Ranking (EWISR), providing parents with a framework to assess schools based on key parameters of educational excellence.
UNACCO school chairman Ningombam Irabanta, told the media on Sunday at UNACCO School, Khongman, Imphal East, that it is a significant achievement for the school to once again top the state rankings.
He mentioned that three schools—UNACCO School, Khongman, and UNACCO School, Chanung—secured the first rank, while UNACCO School, Meitram, secured second place in the state rankings.
Irabanta further stated that the three schools ranked 46th, 30th, and 76th, respectively, in the all-India school rankings during the survey.
He explained that the survey assessed more than 4,000 schools across three major categories—day schools, boarding schools, and international schools—and 14 sub-categories covering 458 cities and towns across the country.
Irabanta added that the school received the award during a three-day award ceremony held at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram, Haryana, from October 17 to 19.
