Two students to get free education under 'Makaam Kamthao di kho' mission

Makaam Youth Organisation (MYO) in collaboration with two schools in Noney district, Manipur to help provide free education to two students.

In a bid to help needy "Makaam" school students to continue their studies, Makaam Youth Organisation (MYO) in collaboration with two schools in Noney district, Manipur have decided to adopt two students for free education for the academic session 2024-2025.

According to a statement issued by MYO, Berean English School, Khumji and Sharon English School, Longmai have offered to give free education, including boarding facilities, to two students till their matriculation while the MYO will take care of other requirements such as books, uniform and other necessities, including financial assistance, when required. 

Berean English School will adopt Kriangtheiba Balang, 15, Kabuikhullen while Sharon English will adopt Chungamliu Riamei daughter of Ningbumei Riamei, Longmai Part IV, it stated.

Makaam Youth Organisation (MYO), comprising youths from the four cognate tribes of Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei and Inpui, is a philanthropic and non-profit civil organisation purely engaged in charitable and humanitarian services, it added.
