A drive to monitor the irregularities of teachers in government educational institutes was launched recently by setting up a survey team, FESOK advisor Thoithoi said while speaking to the media at the office of FESOK in Kakwa, Imphal West on Monday.

Asking the teachers to not take their profession for granted, he said legal proceedings will be taken up against those who are pursuing the profession of teachers just for salary.

The advisor also appealed to the state government to directly dismiss those teachers who are irregular and those using substitutes so that job opportunities can be given to those potential youths who are willing to work sincerely and with dedication.
