In an effort to bring quality education throughout Manipur, the Kangleipak Students’ Association (KSA) on its 17th foundation day announced to monitor the implementation of School Fagathansi Mission of the state government.
The 17th foundation day of KSA was celebrated at the campus of Khuyathong Tombisana High School in Imphal on Sunday. Hosting the association’s flag and lighting of the inaugural lamp marked the opening ceremony of the event.
KSA president Sukham Bidyananda extended gratitude to the people of Manipur for their immense support to KSA since its establishment in the various academic activities taken up in the interest of the public especially the students’ society.
Bidyananda alleged that the various policy programmes and schemes introduced by the government for uplifting the education sector seems to be more of a namesake and does not focus on quality education.
Claiming that the clashes among various students during the recent student’s election is ‘unfortunate’ and appealed to the students’ community to refrain from any such violence act in the future.
Besides teachers, parents also play a vital role in paving a better path and developing a good character of a student, he added.
As a part of the celebration, all the contesting candidates of KSA during the student’s union election 2022 held in different education institutes were felicitated besides honouring the media persons of Manipur.
The function was also attended by dean (School of Engineering) MU Prof RK Hemakumar as chief guest and president of United Committee Manipur (UCM) Joychandra Konthoujam as guest of honour.
