No winter vacation for schools in Nagaland

Schools under the Directorate of School Education of Nagaland will continue with online/offline activities till December 22, 2020.

Schools under the Directorate of School Education of Nagaland will continue with online/offline activities till December 22, 2020. Christmas and New Year holidays will begin from December 23 to January 3, 2021, which means the usual winter vacation is cancelled, the Directorate of School Education of Nagaland informed on Friday.

The Education directorate then asked school heads, teachers and other staff to remain in their respective places of posting till December 22, return to their places of posting after Christmas and New Year holidays and resume from January 4, 2021 with the activities related to online/offline learning programmes for all classes and other training programmes to be launched by the education department.

The Directorate of School Education further informed that a separate notification will be issued regarding the re-opening of schools for the academic session 2021. Till such time schools should not ask students to come for regular classes for the academic session 2021, it added.
