The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya has been awarded the prestigious 10th Higher Education Excellence Award in the category of Excellence in Creating Employment at the 19th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2024, held in New Delhi on October 18.
This esteemed award, presented by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), honours the institutions that have made remarkable contributions and shown leadership in higher education.
NIT Meghalaya has explicitly been recognized for its outstanding efforts and commitment to fostering employment excellence.
The award ceremony was attended by leading figures in education, government representatives, and influential thought leaders from across the country. FICCI’s Higher Education Excellence Awards are known for their stringent evaluation process, with institutions assessed on various key parameters, the institute said in a statement issued on Monday.
