In protest against the transfer of M Gwangngamdai (AGT EIN-081101) to Bishnupur Higher Secondary School from Langmei Higher Secondary School Tamei, its students took out a massive rally at Tamei sub divisional headquarters on Thursday.
To protest against the transfer order no. SM3-201/10/2021-SE(H/S) dated July 24, 2024, Imphal as ordered by the Governor of Manipur, the students of Langmei Higher Secondary School Tamei staged a rally, demanding a stay order from the Government of Manipur.
The rally was carried out from Langmei Higher Secondary School Tamei to Tamei Bazaar till SDO office Tamei where they submitted a memorandum.
Students held placards which read “Supporting our Teacher is Supporting our Future, You’re the best ever Teacher Sir Gwangngamdai. Let Teachers Teach not Travel, Transfer policy a threat to education, It’s the teachers that make the difference, not the classroom.”
“Teachers are not transferable assets, We want our teachers transfers to be immediately canceled, Stability in teaching, Stability in learning,” the students shouted.
