Lilong Haoreibi college students hold protest

Students alleged that more than 100 students of the college did not get their admit cards.

Students of Lilong Haoreibi College, Thoubal district on Tuesday staged a protest, demanding to let them take their examinations, while decrying that more than 100 students of the college did not get their admit cards.

No untoward incidents occurred due to the timely intervention by Manipur Police.

Rabban Dickson, a 5th semester student, condemned the authorities concerned for failing to provide them with their admit cards for the exam even after the students had submitted the relevant documents and their examination fees at the college counter. He alleged the college authorities for ruining the student’s career.

He also appealed to the education minister and the authorities of Manipur University to look into the matter and take up legal action against those involved in the issue. He said that the students will meet the education minister and urged him to let them take their exams.
