Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India, Chang Jae-bok on Thursday visited Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur and King Sejong Institute at the Dhanamanjuri University (DMU).
During his visit, the ambassador met with DMU vice-chancellor professor N Rajmuhon Singh and other officials of the university.
In the meeting, ambassador Chang Jae- bok suggested collaborative research between India(Manipur) and Korea. He exuded confidence that the exchange would exhort growth of knowledge, language, culture and tradition of both the countries.
He further stated that he would extend all possible support and help DM University in promoting more courses on Korean Studies. He also informed students to apply for different fellowships offered under the Korean government.
