Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Manipur on Wednesday concluded the ‘Three Days Awareness Programme cum Crash Course on Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)’ which commenced on Monday, at its campus at Mantripukhri in Imphal.
A press statement issued by IIIT Manipur stated that during the valedictory function, the director of Information Technology, government of Manipur Nabam Deben who attended the programme as the chief guest of the programme spoke on the mentorship programme organised by the students of IIIT Manipur for the engineering aspiring local students of Manipur to help them crack JEE and other similar exams to get admission to top engineering colleges.
It informed that IIIT Manipur director Krishnan Baskar who attended the programme as the president encouraged the students to have confidence in themselves to crack JEE. He also mentioned that IIIT Manipur is committed to attracting more Manipuri students to the institute and highlighted the various funding and scholarship opportunities provided by the government for the disadvantaged sections of society, it continued.
It also stated that during the programme, prizes were distributed to the toppers of the mock test. Programme coordinator Kishorjit Nongmeikapam welcomed the students from Ukhrul and addressed the gatherings while Sanjib Choudhury proposed the vote of thanks, it added.
