HSLC Exam 2022: Restrictions imposed around 23 schools in Bishnupur

Restrictions are being imposed within a 100 meter radius of 23 schools located in the district from midnight of April 4 to 26 in connection with the scheduled HSLC examination 2022.

The district magistrate of Bishnupur on Tuesday announced that restrictions are being imposed within a 100 meter radius of 23 schools located in the district from midnight of April 4 to 26 in connection with the scheduled High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, 2022 which will commence from April 5.

The 23 schools are named in the order issued by district magistrate, Bishnupur Lourembam Bikram.

They are LCM High School, Moirang; Nambol Hr. Sec. School, Nambol; Special Regular Eng. School, Nambol; Naree Kalyan Vidyalaya, Nambol; Moirang High School, Moirang; Mukta High School, Kokilabol; Nambol Collegiate High School, Nambol; Anita Standard High School, Kwakta; Thanga High School, Thanga; Onam High School, Oinam; Onam Girls Hr. Sec. School, Oinami; Children's Model Academy, Thanga.

Loyalam Public School, Moirang Khunou; Bishnupur Hr. Sec. School, Bishnupur; Kumbi High School, Kumbi; Bishnupur Public School, Bishnupur; Leimapokpam Public H/S, Leimapokpam; Loyola School, Bishnupur; Ningthoukhong Hr. Sec. School; Wangoo Hr. Sec. School, Wangoo; Moirang Multipurpose Hr. Sec. School; Sanatombi Oriental Eng. School, Kumbi; and BK Golden Academy, Kumbi,

The restriction order includes entry of any vehicles and persons carrying arms, daos, swords, knives, heavy iron bars pointed or blunt, other lethal weapons and others and any other unauthorised persons within the specified areas, said the order issued by the district magistrate of Bishnupur.

However, the restrictions will not apply to the candidates, officials and vehicles authorised by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur, plying of vehicles along the Tiddim Road, and such other persons as the district magistrate may from time to time admit for assisting in conduct of the examination, it stated. Circumstances do not permit serving of notices to all concerned in this regard, it further stated. 

It mentioned that during the said examination, there is a likelihood of anti-social elements creating law and order problems thereby disturbing smooth conduct of free and fair examination in the district so immediate preventive measures are required to be taken up to prevent breach of peace and tranquillity in and around the examination centres, it added.
