COHSEM notifies on design of question papers

New Design of Question Papers to be implemented from the Higher Secondary Examination, 2024 for the candidates of all categories.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has notified with regards to the Design of Question Papers in respect of the 31 subjects.

A notification by Ch Biren Singh, secretary of COHSEM dated October 17, 2023 stated that the notification is “in supersession of all previous notification”.

“It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the Design of Question Papers in respect of the following 31 subjects shall replace the earlier Design of Question Papers of the said subjects and the same shall be effective from the current session, 2023-2024 in both Classes X1 and XII under the Council,” the notification stated.

However, the syllabi of these subjects shall remain unchanged and this new Design of Question Papers shall be implemented from the Higher Secondary Examination, 2024 for the candidates of all categories. This is issued vide Resolution No. 3.1 of the Curriculum & Syllabus Committee meeting held on October 17, the notification stated.

The subjects are English (General), Manipuri (MIL), Alternative English, Elective English, Elective Manipuri, Accountancy, Economics, Education, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Statistics, Agriculture, Anthropology, Engineering Drawing, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Human Ecology and Family Sciences, Music, Health and Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Thang Ta and Fine Arts.

The modified Design of Question Papers may be downloaded from the website: https://cohsem.nic.in the notification stated, adding that all concerned are requested to do the needful accordingly.
