938 displaced students to receive benefits under CMCSRS

Displaced students may contact the principals of the colleges or heads of the institutions concerned for admission or transfer to the college/institution of their choice latest by September 30, 2023.

In a bid to assist and encourage those students affected by the ongoing conflict in Manipur, the state government has approved a total of 938 students comprising 781 students in the 'Directly Affected' category and 157 students in the 'Inter College Transfer' category for providing benefits under Chief Minister's College Students Rehabilitation Scheme (CMCSRS), 2023.

The same was notified by the director of University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur Rangitabali Waikhom on Sunday. The list of the students is available at ‘www.highereducationmanipur.gov.in’, it stated.

It also mentioned that the list of the applicants is available at the office of the Principals of the Colleges/Heads of the Institutions concerned.

The applicants may contact the principals of the colleges/heads of the institutions concerned for admission/transfer to the college/Institution of their choice latest by September 30, 2023, it informed adding that no complaint received after the last date will be entertained.

It also notified the principals or heads of the institutions concerned to keep a copy of the list of students available at their respective offices.

The details of students who have been admitted/transferred to their colleges/Institutions under the scheme must be submitted to the director of University and Higher Education latest by October 4, 2023, for further necessary action, it added.
