Manipur's COVID-19 confirmed caseload reached 1,39,812 with one more positive case on Saturday, and the number of active cases recorded was seven, official sources said.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.6 per cent. A total of 155 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Saturday. As many as 16,56,129 tests have so far been conducted in the state.
According to the COVID-19 Common Control Room on Saturday, the new positive case from the general population is from Tengnoupal. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing were in place, it said.
The State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported no death due to COVID-19. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in the state remained 2,148.
Three persons were discharged on Saturday. The cumulative number of recovered cases is 1,37,657 and the recovery rate is 98.46 per cent as on Saturday.
As on September 29, a total of 120 D-type oxygen cylinders and 12 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
A total of 548 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on September 29. The cumulative vaccination coverage reached 32,37,262. Of it, first dose has been administered to 16,43,874 people, second dose was 13,26,198 and precautionary dose coverage reached 2,67,190.
