Nagaland COVID-19 Update: 15 new cases, five recoveries

As per the state COVID-19 bulletin, a total of 111 COVID-19 test results were received on Tuesday, of which 15 were found positive.

Nagaland on Tuesday reported 15 new COVID-19 cases, taking the state's tally to 35,628. The day's positivity rate is 13.5 per cent, according to the latest update by the state health department.

As per the state COVID-19 bulletin, a total of 111 COVID-19 test results were received on Tuesday, of which 15 were found positive for the infection. Nagaland has so far conducted 4,75,871 cumulative COVID-19 tests.

Among the new COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday, six were from Kohima, four from Phek, two from Dimapur and one each from Longleng, Peren and Wokha.

Nagaland's COVID-19 death toll stood at 764, including five non-COVID deaths. The five persons died with COVID-19 positivity, However, their deaths were not due to COVID-19.

The state also recorded five new recoveries and the cumulative number of recovered cases is 33,291. Nagaland has 75 active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday, according to the bulletin.
