Mizoram's COVID-19 tally on Sunday reached 1,41,749 as 84 more people tested positive for the infection. The death toll from the pandemic mounted to 546 with one more fatality, according to the update posted by the state Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on Twitter.
The positivity rate is 16.47 per cent.
Of the total COVID-19 cases reported in the state, a total of 1,39,488 patients have been discharged, leaving the number of active cases at 1,715, according to the DIPR.
Among the active COVID-19 cases in Mizoram, Aizawl has the highest number of cases at 637, followed by Mamit with 280 and Serchhip with 200. There are 130 active cases in Lunglei, 13 in Siaha, 88 in Champhai, 164 in Kolasib, 34 in Lawngtlai, 106 in Khawzawl, five in Hnahthial, and 58 in Saitual.
