Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) in association with the district administration, Jiribam and Health department organised mass COVID-19 vaccination camps at Mission Compound and Leishabithol area on Wednesday.
During the vaccination camp held at Leishabithol, JDO advised the locals who had been hesitant about the Covid vaccine to get vaccinated at the earliest in order to effectively tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
JDO Leishabithol branch general secretary Sushant Singh conveyed his appreciation to the DC of Jiribam, JDO and the Medical team for conducting the mass vaccination camp at the village.
Meanwhile, All Jiribam United Clubs Organisation (AJUCA) under the supervision of the district administration and CMO of Jiribam carried on its COVID-19 mass vaccination drive with a mobile vaccination programme held at Uchathol on Wednesday.
As a part of the mobile vaccination programme, facemasks, hand sanitisers and food items were also distributed under the supervision of All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO).
AJUCA Vice president M Premchandra Singh said that the mass COVID-19 vaccination drive in the district will continue.
