Manipur's COVID-19 active case tally climbed to 32 as the state reported four new COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours. With it, the daily positivity rate stood at 2.2 per cent and the state's cumulative number of COVID-19 cases reached 1,39,865 as on Friday, according to official sources.
As per the release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Friday, Churachandpur and Thoubal reported one positive case each, while Imphal East reported two cases.
The release stated that no death due to COVID-19 has been reported in the last 24 hours from any part of the state. The cumulative number of Covid 19 deaths remained unchanged at 2,149.
The total number of recovered cases stood at 1,37,684, as no person was discharged on Friday.
Meanwhile, a total of 16,59,266 samples have been test across the state so far, while the cumulative number of COVID- 19 vaccine doses administered on October 20 was 860.
The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,50,544. Of it, the first dose totaled 16,46,554, second dose 13,31,749 and precautionary dose reached 2,72,241.
If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
