With the number of COVID-19 positive cases dropping significantly in the past few days, only four active cases remained in Thoubal district.
As per a report from district surveillance officer, Thoubal Dr Trusty, a total of 9,180 of 9,407 patients have recovered so far while the cumulative number of deaths stand at 223.
On the other hand, during the vaccination campaign being conducted by district administration Thoubal and District Health Society Thoubal since January 16, as many as 2,312,36 have been vaccinated till Wednesday.
A report issued by district immunisation officer, Dr Ksh Memcha, a total of 1,44,228 persons have received the first dose while 87,008 persons received the second dose.
Meanwhile, as many as 8,444 persons have been vaccinated so far till Wednesday during the door-to-door vaccination campaign which began on November 12 in the district.
