Manipur reports three more COVID-19 positive cases

One new COVID-19 case each was reported from Imphal West, Bishnupur and Senapati.

Manipur on Tuesday recorded three new COVID-19 positive cases, pushing the state's tally to 1,37,121 while the death toll remained at 2,120 with zero new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department. The positivity rate is 1.0 per cent.

According to a release issued by the State COVID-19 Common Control Room, of the three COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday, one case each was from Imphal West, Bishnupur and Senapati.

The state also reported one new recovery, taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 1,35,026. The recovery rate is 98.41 per cent. Manipur now has 55 COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.

Meanwhile, a total of 487 Oxygen Cylinders and 61 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,15,661 (first dose: 15,50,494 second dose: 11,93,715 precautionary dose: 71,452).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.62 per cent and for the second dose is 50.98 per cent, it mentioned.
