India records 6915 new COVID-19 positive cases

So far, in India, 177.70 crore total vaccine doses have been administered under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

India on Tuesday recorded 6,915 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the country’s active caseload to 92,472, official sources said.

The COVID-19 active cases in India account for 0.22 per cent of the total cases, while the recovery rate stood at 98.59 per cent with the report of 16,864 new recoveries in the last 24 hours. Total Recoveries reached 4,23,24,550, according to a release by the Union Health Ministry.

In all, 76.83 crore total Covid-19 tests have been conducted so far as 9,01,647 more tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Consequently, the daily positivity rate currently is 0.77%, while the weekly positivity rate is 1.11 per cent.

So far, as many as 177.70 crore total vaccine doses have been administered under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
