Manipur's single day COVID-19 positivity rate rose to four per cent with the detection of seven new positive cases, taking the confirmed caseload to 1,39,853 as on Tuesday, official sources said.
According to the latest updated data on Tuesday, the state recieved as many as 174 sample test results. Of them, seven were tested positive for COVID-19, while no new death case was reported from any parts of the state.
Imphal East and Kamjong reported two COVID-19 positive cases each, while Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Tengnoupal reported one positive case each. The death toll remained unmoved at 2,149 as of Tuesday.
One more person was discharged. Consequently, the number of COVID-19 active cases climbed to 24.
The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on October 17 was 718. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,47,947. Of it, the first dose climbed to 16,45,982, second dose 13,30,582 and precautionary dose touched 2,71,383.
If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
