Manipur has so far conducted as many as 16,68,273 COVID-19 tests. On Wednesday, 97 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the state but all returned negative and the state's confirmed COVID-19 caseload stood at 1,39,924, including 2,149 deaths, official sources said.

Manipur reported two COVID-19 positive cases in 2023- one each on January 1 and January 3. However, the two cases have recovered from the infection leaving the cumulative number of recovered cases at 1,37,77 and recovery rate at 98.46 per cent.
