A Book titled 'Lambisida Ngaijarakli' authored by Khaidem Landonbala Devi was released at Manipur Hindi Parishad hall at Old assembly road, Imphal on Sunday.
Speaking at the event organised by Manipuri Literary Society Imphal, Khaidem Londonbala stated that the book was her 2nd poetry book and was published in light of the prevailing Manipur conflict.
“I wanted to publish something which could provide momentary release from the long drawn tension in Manipur,” she said.
She stated that she would continue to write and publish books all the while seeking for people's support and blessings.
Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi New Delhi, convenor professor Rajen Toijamba, Manipuri Literary Society Imphal, president N Kirankumar, dean of School of Humanities DMU professor S Lanchenba Meetei and Sangai Express editor Khogendra Khomdram among others were present at the event.
