Delivering the keynote address, the ‘luchingpurel’ of POAC Louriyam ongbi Thaba pointed out that Manipur is a land of performing artistes and has a variety of such arts forms.

She said that all the indigenous performing art forms have their own particular value, discipline and are closely related to the society. But unfortunately in this contemporary situation, so many changes have come up due to the influence of globalisation, she added.

She mentioned that the new generation could not look towards the traditional value and system and also highly neglected the traditional art performances. She added that is why the moral and spiritual values are declining among the youths today.
