The employees fixed the ‘power trip’ down at maximum till late night after considering the problems faced by the public. He further clarified that the JAC never encourages any employee for manual power tripping at any place.
As the government is yet to complete the final process for implementation of 7th Pay, the employees will continue the sit-in-protest at various power stations across the state. However, prepaid counters will be opened and non-maintenance of power outage has been withdrawn from Friday night. The employees will try to fix the remaining power tripping areas of the state, he added.
He further said that if the state government failed to fully implement the 7th Pay (ROP-2019) by September 20, then non-maintenance of power outages and closing of prepaid counters may be resumed.
