Mizoram, Assam and Manipur remained the three states in Northeast India with the highest number of COVID-19 cases, according to the latest update by the Union Health Ministry on Monday.
The total number of COVID-19 active cases in Mizoram is 10,981, while Assam today has - 6,403 and Manipur - 3,278 COVID-19 active cases.
Assam, Manipur and Meghalaya remained the three states with the highest number of COVID-19 cases. Assam has 5,91,659 total COVID-19 confirmed cases, while Manipur and Meghalaya has 1,15,077, 76,767 cases respectively.
The COVID-19 death toll of Assam, Manipur and Meghalaya is 5,693, 1796, 1325 respectively.
Meanwhile, Nagaland has the lowest COVID-19 active cases of 751, while Sikkim reported lowest death toll of 222 among the Northeast states.
Meanwhile, India's total COVID-19 active cases reached 4,10,048, according to the Health Ministry data on Monday.
