Meghalaya government mulls reopening of schools

The government is likely to take decision on reopening of schools next week.

Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Prestone Tynsong has informed that the government is likely to take a decision on the reopening of schools next week.

“We will again sit down to discuss on the issue of the reopening of schools, maybe for class XI and XII next week,” Tynsong said on Thursday.

He said the government would also discuss the need to reopen the tourism sector.
