The Manipur High Court celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day at the court premises in Imphal on Sunday, August 15, with Chief Justice PV Sanjay Kumar hoisting the National Flag as the national anthem was sung.
As a part of the celebration, the Annual Report 2020 of Manipur State Legal Services Authority was released by the chief justice in the presence of Justice LS Jamir; Justice Kh Nobin Singh (Executive Chairman, MASLSA); Justice MV Muralidaran; Justice A Bimol Singh; Senior Advocates and other dignitaries.
The Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) also celebrated the 75th Independence Day at the office of Manipur State Legal Services Authority, ADR Centre, Lamphel Court Complex, Imphal.
Ojesh Mutum, member secretary, Manipur State Legal Services Authority, hoisted the tricolor at 7 am followed by salute and national anthem. Sorokhaibam Sadananda, deputy member secretary, MASLSA, staff members of Manipur State Legal Services Authority and police personnel of Lamphel Court Complex and attended the function.
In honour of the Independence Day, the judicial officers, members of All Manipur Bar Association and subordinate staff unfurled the National Flag of India (Tiranga) at Cheirap Court Complex, Uripok, Imphal. A Guneshwar Sharma, district & sessions Judge, Imphal West, RK Memcha Devi, district and sessions judge, Imphal East and M Nilachandra Singh, president AMBA were among the dignitaries of the Independence Day 2021 celebration. The security personnel of 6th Manipur Rifles gave the guard of honour.
