Three waste segregation vehicles provided to ADCC

The waste management vehicles are procured by the district under the grant of 15th Finance Commission 2020-21.

Three waste segregation vehicles, including one tipper truck and GI-pipe, were provided to ADCC complex by TA and Hills minister, Vungzagin Valte in the presence of Singngat MLA and MTDC chairman, Ginsuanhau Zou; ADCC caretaker chairman, Khaipau Haokip; additional chief secretary, Letkhogin Haokip; deputy commissioner; superintendent of police; and CEO of ACC Churachandpur along with other DLOs.

On the occasion, minister Vungzagin expressed contentment on providing the dedicated waste management vehicles which are procured by the district under the grant of 15th Finance Commission 2020-21. He said that liquid and solid waste management was already in the plan and so the three vehicles were provided which will be used to collect waste and transfer to the dumping places where machines will be installed soon for recycling.

The delivery of the waste segregation vehicles was initiated by MLA Ginsuanhau to make the district clean by conducting various cleanliness drives.

Later, the ministerial team donated a portable power backup (UPS units) for use in BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machines to the Dedicated COVID Health Centre of Churachandpur district hospital.
