Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Monday announced that Akham Bimalchandra of Wangkhei Laishram Leikai has been appointed as working president of Yaiskul Block Congress Committee. General secretary (organisation) Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) L Tilotama issued an order on Monday, stating that president, MPCC N Loken Singh has approved the appointment of Bimalchandra  as working president, Yaiskul Block Congress Committee with immediate effect until further orders.
