Domino’s Pizza presented Olympic silver medallist Saikhom Mirabai Chanu a lifetime offer that she can have pizzas anytime from any Domino’s restaurant at free of cost.
The offer was made as Olympic silver medallist Saikhom Mirabai Chanu expressed earlier in an electronic interview that though she had to maintain a strict diet in order to participate in the Olympic Games, she wanted to have pizzas.
Saikhom Mirabai Chanu won silver medal in the Tokyo Olympic games in women’s 49 kilogram weight lifting category.
In connection with the winning of silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics, Dominos India tweeted in its twitter account (dominos_india) saying “@Mirabai_chanu, Congratulations on bringing the medal home! You brought the dreams of a billion+ Indians to life and we couldn’t be happier to treat you to FREE Domino’s pizza for life. Congratulations again!!”
Amid the restriction of curfew due to COVID-19, guest delight manager, Moirangthem Yengkhomba Meitei and guest delight associate manager, Bhimkumar Rai of Domino’s Pizza, Imphal branch after taking permission from the state home department presented pizzas to the family members of the Olympian at Nongpok Kakching, Imphal East district on Sunday. Domino’s Pizza, Imphal branch also celebrated the moment with Mirabai’s family members.
Dominos India CEO also tweeted in his twitter account along with the photographs of celebration by Domino’s Pizza Imphal officials with the family members of Mirabai. He also extended his gratitude to Mirabai for winning the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
Dominos India northeast area manager, VK C Francis told in a video clip that on winning the silver medal in Tokyo Olympics, the company has given her lifetime offer to have pizzas at free of cost. In the offer there are no terms and conditions from the company. She will be given a ‘VVIP treatment’ to any outlet of the company, he added.
