Amid global COVID-19 crisis, the Indian Government on Friday sent medical aid to Myanmar to help the nation in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The consignment included 50 refrigerators, 200 drip stands, 50 autoclave (50) and four thermal scanners. Myanmar officials consisting of medical SP Tamu General Hospital, Dr Thura, Dr Thein Naing Oo and consulate general of India My Kyaw Khaing Linn received the consignment.
Inspector LCS Moreh, Thangminlun Gangte, manager ICP, Robin Gangte, major Ankit Sharma of 43 Assam Rifles represented the Indian officials. Additional SP (Ops) M Amit, SDPO Moreh police, K Megabarna and medical staff from Moreh Hospital were also present when the aid was handed over to Myanmar at Integrated Check Post (ICP), Moreh near Indo-Myanmar Friendship Bridge.
India and Myanmar shares an international border.
