Thoubal Assembly Youth Congress Committee (TAYCC) presented face masks and hand sanitisers to 13 COVID-19 Task Forces that were formed for Thoubal assembly constituency under the initiative of DC Thoubal and also distributed food items to volunteers of various task forces on Tuesday.
In regard to Thoubal assembly constituency, the committee has always been active in the battle against the pandemic, and had distributed food items to families with COVID-19 positive members and households in Isolation, TAYCC stated in a statement signed by president Okram Roberth Okley.
The public and task forces have conveyed their appreciation for the important roles played by TAYCC in rendering aid and public services in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the committee will continue its efforts to ease the hardships faced by the public, it added.
